Pastor's Update - Easter Sunday

Church of the Big Wood Family,

This weekend we will celebrate what Christians believe to be the most important event in history - the resurrection of Jesus that first Easter morning!  While we won’t be able to celebrate together, my prayer is that what Easter means - that Jesus is alive and His kingdom now available to all - will be a reality we all experience as we focus our hearts on Him.  With this in mind, here are three things I want to encourage you to be doing this Easter.

Easter Service!  We have some special music and a special Easter video planned for our virtual Easter celebration, which will premier at 9:30 AM on Easter Sunday, April 12, and which will be available to stream anytime immediately following.  Joining the service is easy - just go to our website (www.pcbw.org), click on the link, and you will be taken to the service.

Easter Invitations:  An Easter service is one to which people are more open to attending, and this will be particular true in the midst of the unsettledness of our world today. Because of this, we’d like to encourage you to be inviting people to participate in our service.  You can do this by sharing our Facebook page invitation, or by sending an email to your friends with a personal invitation and instructions as to how to join the service.

Easter Virtual Coffee Hour: I’d love to greet many of you following our Easter service - just grab a cup of coffee (and a donut if you have one!) and join our Zoom virtual coffee hour.  To do so, just go to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/churchofthebigwood/) immediately after the service and we will post a link.  See you then!

He is risen!  He is risen indeed!
