What exactly is a Thanksgiggling Party?
It's a party with non-stop laughs! Every game and every snack is guaranteed to make your child have a belly ache. Not from the food, of course, but from the huge amount of laughter they will experience. We hope that your children will plan to join us as we party during Big Wood Kids for a morning of giggles and games.
Hello church family! As you know, VBS is fast approaching, July 24th-28th. We have an amazing week planned for the children. However, that week is not possible without the entire church. We have two very specific areas that we would love your help in donating specific items:
1. Supplies - here's a list of some of the things that we need.
Cardboard boxes (many of them)
Hay bales (at least 6)
Old tires (at least 8)
Potato sacks/burlap sacks (2 each)
Balance beam
PVC pipe and fittings for making hurdles
Foam board
Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, pogo sticks, unicycles, rip sticks, small kayaks, etc. for decorating only. Not to be ridden by volunteers or children.
2. Hospitality Room Treats - Throughout the week, we provide a hospitality room loaded with breakfast items and treats for our volunteers as a way to say "thank you"
Breakfast bars
Snack-type treats
Chips
Salsa
Finger foods
Candy
Hot breakfast for specific days (cinnamon rolls, hot breakfast casserole, sausage biscuits, waffles, etc.)
Fruit
Finally, we are still in need of many more volunteers. If you are available and could volunteer for one, two, or even all five days, we would love your help. Here are some specific areas that we can use volunteer help:
Snacks - This team helps put together simple, pre-planned snacks for the children.
Rotations - This group of volunteers helps move children from one rotation to the next. This responsibility requires no pre-planning.
Crafts - This group helps children create a specific VBS-themed craft for each day.
Bus Drivers - This group helps to transport a small group of children from and to Hailey each day. We have two drivers but could use one to two more.
Decorating - The week prior to VBS, we will be transforming the entire church building by decorating for VBS. We can use all of the help that we can get. You do not have to be a creative type person to help with decorating.
If you would like to donate any of the above items, please contact Chris at chris@pcbw.org or 731-935-9848.
Thank you in advance!
Chris Neely, Director of Family & Children Ministry

Children's Ministries is excited to announce we will be starting a new Sunday School class for the 3rd-5th graders. We will be doing a curriculum created by Dave Stotts called Drive Through History: The Gospels. He will take us on a journey of the important places in the Bible while teaching the kids what happened there and why it is important.
We will meet in the conference room after Pastor Mark dismisses the kids from the service. We are excited for the older elementary kids to have more time together and to learn more about the Bible. If you have any questions email Hollyn or Sarah.
Join children’s ministry for an after school kids club for students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Wednesdays from 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Games, fun and a message!
