Newsboys are a Christian Rock band founded in 1985 in Queensland, Australia, by Peter Furler and George Perdikis. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, the band has released 17 studio albums, 6 of which have been certified gold.
All proceeds support Higher Ground, a non-profit based out of Sun Valley, Idaho
Galena Day is Saturday, March 15 from 11am - 2pm.
This event is for all church families, BWS families, and anyone that you’d like to invite.
Coffee and hot cocoa will be available in the picnic area and we’ll be serving cups of soup from the lodge at 12pm!
This is a come-and-go-as-you-choose event so whether you stay all day or only for an hour or two, we hope that your family will join us for this fun day in the snow and sun.

Get ready for an amazing weekend in Alta, Wyoming! We will be skiing at Grand Targhee Resort February 14-17th, 2024. Students will have an opportunity to ski both Saturday and Sunday. We will be staying at an Airbnb in Driggs, Idaho and will be making dinners together and gathering each evening for worship and Bible study.
Enjoy a special date night on us! The Family & Children's Ministry of Church of the Big Wood will be providing childcare for ages 3 years to 5th grade on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 5pm-8pm. WHEN: January 10th 4:00pm - January 12th at noon We will depart on Friday late afternoon and eat dinner at Camp Perkins Friday night. We will arrive back at the church around 12:15pm for pick up.
WHERE: Camp Perkins located 45 minutes north of Ketchum in Stanley, Idaho. We will be staying in a retreat center with hotel style rooms each equipped with a bathroom.
Included in this packet are the forms needed for our Winter Retreat. Registration deadline (Forms completed and Full payment) due Sunday, January 5th! No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of departure.

Mark your calendars and bring your friends and family out for a lively evening of music, shining a fresh light on the Christmas story through music.”
Join Chip Booth, (guitarist in the CofBW praise band) and others members of the band on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month at the Commons for an evening of fun and music as we learn together how to play popular songs, folk music and more.
Our goal is to help musicians at various levels in their musical journey learn how to play together as a group, focusing on listening, timing and playing parts. All instruments as well as singers are welcome. Participants are encouraged to suggest songs they would like to play.
The office will be closed on Wednesday, November 27 at noon through Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The Salvation Army will be back at the kettle this year in front of Atkinson's Market in Ketchum and a stand-alone kettle at the Starbucks Visitor’s Booth. They will kick off the weekend before Thanksgiving (November 22) and go until the afternoon of Christmas Eve. All of our out-of-town affiliates and participants are invited to join us for the Affiliates Dinner at the Golden Eagle Clubhouse - 110 Golden Eagle Drive (mid-valley).
It's a wonderful time to get to know others from around the country who make CBW their church home while in the valley.

This Bible study experience is for anyone who is wanting to learn how to read the Bible for themselves and to hear God’s voice in it. We hope that you will feel comfortable inviting a friend or anyone you know who may be asking spiritual questions. Our goal is to EXPERIENCE GOD THROUGH HIS WORD.

Fuel Youth are invited to join us as the YWAM discipleship team of college aged students lead us in two nights of worship, games, and first person testimonies. Join us at 12:00 PM to enjoy a day of fun and recreation at the valley's favorite getaway for the day on Saturday, June 22. Afternoon devotion is the perfect ending to this church-wide event in the scenic Sawtooths. Water crafts, paddle boards and kayaks are needed for this event.

Thanks to funds raised from our previous raffles we have been able to accomplish so many amazing things that have helped us to create our extraordinary, one-of-a-kind, top-notch learning center and preschool! We have raised money for our Security and Front Entrance Remodel, our Sensory Room Renovation, our Playground Upgrades, our Scholarship Fund, our COVID Relief Effort, our Touchless Water Bottle Filling Stations, our gorgeous Vinyl Flooring and Carpeting, and the Continuing Early Childhood Education Opportunity granted to our teachers to participate in national conferences, providing enrichment, inspiration, and encourgement. Every one of these things has benefitted our students, staff, families, school and Church exponentially and that is all because of YOU!
We are excited to let you know about a new opportunity to get to know others in our church - we are calling it, "Meal and Mingle." This is a chance during the last two weeks in April to get together with 6-8 others from the church and share a meal together. Getting involved is simple - we have folks ready to host different groups in their homes - all you have to do is sign up for the group that fits best for you.
