PCBW has been challenged to some friendly competition by St. Thomas Episcopal, Our Lady of the Snows, and other local faith community’s to compete in “The Souper Bowl” - an annual competition to see who can bring the most canned soups for the Hunger Coalition.

While the real goal is to help provide for those in need in our Valley, the winning congregation will be bringing home the prized Wood River Valley "Souper Bowl" trophy.  

Bring your soups to church on or before Super Bowl Sunday (February 2).   For those for whom bringing soups is difficult, Aktisons will be taking pre-paid orders and delivering them to the Hunger Coalition in the donor’s church name.  Order forms are available through the church office.

While all canned soups will be accepted, the Hunger Coalition suggest the following because of their nutritional value:

Campbell’s Healthy Request, Healthy Choice, Campbell’s Well Yes, Progresso Reduced Sodium, Progresso Light, Amy’s Kitchen, Annies, Pacific, Health Value Organic, and Imagine.
